Obvious Internet Throwback: "But I'm just kidding, aren't I?"

KD hates things that are "youtube-y." You know, clips that are made by "random" people with the intention to go "viral" by getting "shared" as "links" and maybe "liked" or "hearted" or "re-tweeted" (putting quotes around all of those Internet "buzzwords" so as to acknowledge my discomfort and mild contempt for the rapidly changing world was so Jay Leno of me). But guess what?  I kinda like some of that stuff! So suck it Kristina!

Lately I've found myself revisiting some of the gold doubloons and pieces of eight from a few years ago--when the internet still had lush, green pastures untouched by the mediocre "web series" and "memes" that the government mandates every citizen participate in these days. I even saw a picture of Old Greg on tumblr and laughed. But don't get me started on the whole instant nostalgia crap--I'm keeping my thoughts on that doodie to myself until I meet a drunk college freshman I wanna bang (more like naive adjunct professor from out of town).

Anyway, even though our many readers rely on us for up-to-the-minute coverage of current events, I thought it would be cute to post some of the old favorites on here from time-to-time. Even thought YES yes yes I KNOW I know I know everyone has seen them already. Hey, it's not like I have anything better to put on here (I'm insecure)!

Although I'd lost track of Julie Klausner and Jackie Clarke's parody of Brenda Dickson's "Welcome to My House" a while ago, it's never been far from my heart. Many of these lines pop into my head on the regular, probably because I'm constantly obsessing over "getting that look." I hope you like(d) it too!
